I Hate Hamlet
Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)

If you are looking for a fun way to spend the summer at the theatre, don't miss these two great shows, playing in repertory at the Vortex.

I Hate Hamlet by Paul Rudnik, one of modern Broadway's funniest and smartest playwrights, is directed by Brian Hansen. Starring Ryan Jason Cook, Dean Eldon Squibb, Linda Williams, Leigh-Ann Santillanes, Robert Johnson and Leslee Richards, it combines theatre, television, love, and the supernatural into one hilarious and fabulous evening. If you love "Slings and Arrows," you won't want to miss it.

Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) by Ann-Marie MacDonald is directed by Victoria Liberatori, the Artistic Director of Princeton Rep Company/Princeton Rep Shakespeare Festival in N.J. Featuring Bridget Kelly, Benjamin Liberman, Heather Yeo, Drew Groves and Lori Stewart, "Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)" is a riotous comedy about Constance Ledbelly, a Shakespearean scholar who is transported into an alternative world peopled by radically revised versions of the classic lovers Romeo and Juliet, and Othello and Desdemona.
Shakespeare meets the "Me Decade" of the 1980s with hilarious results. The Village Voice called Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), "...Stratford-upon-Acid!."
